Erin Diesel Roumayah is an associate attorney at Wachler & Associates, P.C. Ms. Roumayah represents healthcare providers and suppliers in the defense of RAC, Medicare, Medicaid, and third party payor audits. Ms. Roumayah dedicates a substantial portion of her practice to the successful defense of health care entities at all stages of the administrative appeals process.
Ms. Roumayah graduated from Wayne State University Law School. While in law school, Ms. Roumayah served as a student trial attorney, judge and mentor for the Student Trial Advocacy Program. Prior to law school, she attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and obtained dual majors in Political Science and Germanic Studies. At the University of Michigan, Ms. Roumayah served as an elected representative for the College of Literature Science and the Arts Student Government, and spent a semester in Washington, D.C. as a constitutional studies intern at a nationally-recognized public policy research organization.
Prior to joining Wachler & Associates, P.C., Ms. Roumayah gained extensive litigation and transactional experience as a civil litigation associate at prominent law firm in the Metro Detroit area, representing national lending institutions in matters concerning distressed residential real estate.
Ms. Roumayah is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association. Ms. Roumayah was honored as a member of the 2017 class of Up & Coming Lawyers by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.
