D. Scott Corathers is an associate attorney at Wachler & Associates, P.C. Scott represents healthcare providers and suppliers in the defense of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payor audits, as well as a broad range of healthcare regulatory and compliance matters. He focuses his practice on navigating complex audit and reimbursement disputes, advising clients on regulatory risk, and developing strategic solutions to protect provider operations and revenue streams.
Prior to joining Wachler & Associates, Scott served as Assistant Field Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for almost 9 years, where he managed a high-volume caseload of commercial and personal lines matters from inception through resolution.
With a foundation spanning litigation, insurance, and regulatory compliance, Scott brings a practical, business-oriented approach to healthcare law. His experience interpreting complex policy language and managing large caseloads allows him to efficiently analyze issues, communicate effectively with clients, and deliver strategic, results-driven guidance in high-stakes regulatory matters.
Scott earned his Juris Doctor from the University at Buffalo Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.
