Shaniya Raheja is an associate attorney at Wachler & Associates, P.C. Shaniya represents healthcare providers and suppliers in a broad range of healthcare law, regulatory, and compliance matters, with a particular focus on Medicare audits and related appeals.

Shaniya graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where she served as Vice President of the Real Estate Law Society and as a Lead Editor for the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law. She earned her B.A. from the University of California, San Diego, graduating in three years, summa cum laude with a concentration in Political Science and Public Law.

Prior to joining Wachler & Associates, P.C., Shaniya gained diverse legal experience across multiple sectors. Her background includes working in private equity at Foley & Lardner LLP, serving as in-house counsel at Summa Health and Cummins Inc., and completing internships at Clifford Chance and Reed Smith in Abu Dhabi. This broad exposure to corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and international legal work informs her practical, business-focused approach to client matters.

With a foundation in M&A and private equity law, Shaniya brings a unique, business-oriented perspective to the complexities of healthcare law. Her understanding of how government agencies and private entities operate from an operational and transactional standpoint allows her to craft strategic, efficient solutions to sophisticated healthcare regulatory challenges.

Shaniya is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan.
